DADO ALL ROUND at the Teatro Tirso De Molina

The new hilarious theatrical show directed by Gabriele Pellegrini and written with Massimiliano Elia for the first time in Italy a special guest in the hall: a mannequin with a 360 ° camera that will also allow viewing by the public from home in Rome from 11 to 29 January

Versatile and original comedian, Gabriele Pellegrini, aka Dado, returns to theaters throughout Italy with a new hilarious show: DADO A TUTTOONDO. From 11 to 29 January 2023, the show will be in Rome, at the Teatro Tirso De Molina, from Wednesday to Sunday. Tickets are available on the Ticketone circuit and at the theater box office. This is how the Roman artist, one of the protagonists of Zelig and many other successful broadcasts, describes this new adventure, of which he signs the direction and screenplay, the latter together with Massimiliano Elia: «Being an all-round man managing to put bare even the hidden sides, it is a real challenge for anyone. In an era in which we practice the religion of the ‘facade’, an actor who chooses to show himself at 360 degrees is an exhibitionist of emotions». After all, not only the artist, but also the use of the show will be, in fact, all-round.
For the first time in Italy, in fact, a theatrical show will also allow the public to watch it from home: sitting in the stalls during the evenings, a mannequin equipped with a 360-degree camera will allow anyone in possession of a special purchasable link and VR viewer, to watch the show through immersive reality, as if he were in the theatre.

Dado’s new show will be a great showcase of comic emotions, which between monologues, songs and a great variety of characters, will exploit the language of stand-up comedy and song-theatre to delight his audience and, at the same time, question themselves on the small and big questions of daily life, especially that of the Romans. Guitar in hand, supported by two actresses, singers and dancers, the leopard-print singer-songwriter will be immersed in a particular scenography, made up of a giant smartphone, a real antagonist on stage, as in the daily life of human beings.

«Modern man’s research is aimed at discovering a contemporary mirror to recognize himself – he explains – And the only mirror that reflects the true essence of today’s individual is the telephone algorithm, the only one that knows everything about us: our musical and culinary tastes, our usual paths, and all our inclinations, even the most hidden ones. The show will show a consolidated relationship between this huge cell phone and its small owner… but a prisoner at the same time».

After Rome, the show will be staged in the main Italian cities. Ranging from theater to TV, Dado will star in the new Rai 2 program “Italian Green”, on air from 24 December, every Saturday morning for 12 episodes and in which the Roman comedian will take on the role of a grandfather, intent on telling his grandchildren of the particular fairy tales “on the contrary”, on the themes of ecology and the environment.

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday: start at 21.00
Saturday 14 and 21/01: double show at 17.00 and 21.00
Sunday: start at 17.00
Tickets available on the Ticketone circuit and at the theater box office.
