The English band Morcheeba will follow on 6 July, the first Italian stop on the European tour. Bursting onto the British trip hop scene at the end of the 1990s, the British electronic music band made up of Skye Edwards (vocals), Paul Godfrey (disc jockey) and Ross Godfrey (guitarist and keyboardist) has embraced more than one musical genre, drawing on pop-rock, alternative rock and indie rock. Ten studio albums including “Who Can You Trust?”, “Big Calm” and “Fragments of Freedom” which are part of the contemporary musical heritage. The single “Rome wasn’t built in a day” from 2000 became a world hit, finishing at the top of the charts also in Italy and also getting nominated for the Grammy Awards. In the latest album “Blackest Blue” the brothers Ross and Godfrey have maintained the “hybrid” style that distinguishes the group, but have allowed themselves to chisel each piece in detail, given the time that the Covid pandemic has left at their disposal. The result is one of the most solid records of Morcheeba’s entire career with the unmistakable voice of Skye.
Andrea Baccan aka “Pucci”, the only one man show of the review, will take the stage on 7 July, with the show “The best of …”, a collection of his best proposals. The recital will be a work in progress retracing the sketches that have made the star of laughter famous until today accompanied by the Zurawski live band. Hilarious and intelligent, the comic actor will enrich the EstEstate Festival billboard with the most pressing rhythms and “continuous cycle” energy, inviting the audience to spend a light evening of pure fun without thoughts, where the only protagonist will be simple comedy. and direct that appeals to young people as well as grandparents. The Milanese Pucci actually has Venetian origins, his father is from Stanghella (Pd) and his mother from Pressana (Vr).
On Friday 8 July at 9.30 pm the Italian Rhythmic Symphony Orchestra, the Opera House Lyric Choir and the Pop Art Voice Academy Choir directed by Maestro Diego Basso will take to the stage in the splendid setting of the Arena of the Carrarese Castle with “Homage to Ennio Morricone”. In an authentic vocabulary of suggestions they will perform his most famous soundtracks, selected from the over 400 film music that Morricone has composed: from the long and incomparable collaboration with Sergio Leone to the most recent film production. Music that is rooted in the collective memory like the film scenes that his compositions have helped to make famous. A profound connoisseur and admirer of Morricone’s music, Maestro Basso has conducted numerous concerts dedicated to the works of the Roman composer, always preferring places that could combine the uniqueness of the compositions with the uniqueness of the place. The project “Homage to Ennio Morricone”, conceived in 2004, was chosen by the City of Guangzhou in China for the Christmas Concert of the 2015/2016 music season in which the Maestro conducted the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra for the occasion.
Fun on stage on July 12 with the Oblivion Summer show, the five senses of musical satire, the five continents of parody, the five degrees of separation between Queen and Gianni Morandi. Graziana Borciani, Davide Calabrese, Francesca Folloni, Lorenzo Scuda, Fabio Vagnarelli will play on stage with music and theater; they defined them as “atomizers of musical repertoires, pusher of caricature pills”, but also “wonderfully superfluous, like the Pyramids”. I am an articulate human cassette player who chews all the music ever written, demolishes it with grotesque irony and digest it live in ways never heard before, an overwhelming all-round musical match, which the five artists face with total naturalness. A living Spotify that chews notes and digests them live in ways never heard before, ranging from genius and madness, juggling and cabaret.

Fabrizio Moro will close the second review of Estestate Festival on July 16 with the Venetian stage of his new summer tour “La mia voce tour 2022”. Fabrizio Moro’s desire to live is inexhaustible after the extraordinary success of the indoor tour recently concluded with a beautiful sold-out date in London. Fabrizio Moro has a twenty-year career behind him, which began in 1996, with 10 albums to his credit. After winning the Sanremo Festival in the Youth section with the song “Pensa”, Fabrizio Mobrici (the real name of the Roman talent) is back in the 2018 edition in the Riviera dei Fiori, triumphing in the Champions category together with Ermal Meta with “You don’t have me done nothing “and paired with him he participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018, winning the fifth place.
