NIGHT STUDIES: LEO FELIPE IN BUENOS AIRES

This Friday Leo Felipe disembarks in Buenos Aires to continue expanding the party auto-ethnography of “Universal History of the After”, the book recently published by Caja Negra. At the meeting, local activities will be carried out with “Estudios de la Noche”, a series of activations where the lines that go from words to music and from speech to dance are continued, with collectives and artists invited to participate in this culture of resistance against coded fun. There will be talks and performance around the dance floor, a documentary show of photographic records about the night and a closing party. From 7:00 p.m. the presentation of “Universal History of the After” begins and a program to sweat on the slopes. Track 1: “Organize the party”, a collective assembly with the participation of Lacura, Family affair, Orgie, Fusion Dance, 808 and Hiedrah Club de Baile, moderated by a special guest and Ezequiel Fanego. Track 2: “Contagios: Visual Arts, Performance and Party” with Nicanor Aráoz, Carrie Bencardino, Franz Vicha and moderation by Silvio Lang. Track 3: “Hablar de fiesta” with Leo Felipe in conversation with Alejo Ponce de León and GB. Also: “Documenting future files”, an exhibition of photographs by Ivi Maiga Bugrimenko, Archivo Isla, Martina Suárez, Julián Carlotto, Image Creators, Santo Seventino and curatorship by Candelaria Mele Helguera. THE KISSES IN THE NATIONAL

The small art pop orchestra led by the singer-songwriter Paula Trama performs a live show to tour their five released albums and present unpublished songs from the upcoming album, along with special guests and surprises. OPERA

Transplatinum Baroque: Gauchas Cyberpunk. The dance opera produced by Ópera Periférica premieres, working on the intervention of Spanish Baroque archives, mixing noise, pop and post-punk materials, where identities in transition produce and circulate new knowledge to create other cartographies of the territory Argentinian. Free Drama. Afectariado Combativo invites to a concert, odes and conjures romantic love together with a community of rote friends who cry, laugh and sing the pains of “romantic love” internalized by the sentimental education of heterosexual culture. Cycle of readings on the poetic journey that goes through different stages from fiction: a dreamlike state that reveals a metamorphosis through the unconscious epic struggle. THEATER

Cement. New performance of the work anchored in a story of heartbreak set in the 80s, with dramaturgy and direction by Consuelo Iturraspe, which is immersed in an epistolary performative narration and at the same time constitutes a farewell, a poem about loss, an intimate and painful towards the past without the possibility of other possible times. Day of Cis Visibility in Art.
