LORCA / “Stock, Lorca Outlet Fair” will stimulate local commerce in San Clemente

The Deputy Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Morales: “From the Department of Commerce and the Regional Union of Merchants, we organize and present the new commercial initiative ‘Stock, Lorca Outlet Fair’ that will take place on November 11, 12 and 13 in the Plaza de Calderón with the aim of supporting Lorca merchants, freeing stock from their warehouses and offering great discounts between 30 and 70%”

The deputy mayor of Lorca and Councilor for Commerce, Francisco Morales, has presented “Stock, Lorca Outlet Fair”, together with the president of the Local Union of Merchants of Lorca, Iván López Bastida, and the president of the San Clemente Federation, Luis Torres of the Alcazar.

The new commercial initiative will take place on November 11, 12 and 13 in the Plaza de Calderón with the aim of helping Lorca merchants, releasing stock from their warehouses and offering great discounts between 30 and 70%.

The Councilor for Commerce of Lorca, Francisco Morales, explained that “the activity ‘Stock, Lorca Outlet Fair’ begins this Friday at 11 am and will take place throughout the weekend, coinciding with the proclamation of the festivities of San Clemente, and will be correspondingly appropriate to the medieval theme with an image inspired by the large canopy that decorates the Teatro Guerra to host the institutional events related to the festivity of our Patron.

Companies from the textile, children’s, men’s, footwear, optics, accessories, decoration, locksmith and real estate sectors, among others, will participate in this activity. The schedule will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the morning and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the afternoon, and for this purpose, 22 3×3 meter tents will be installed in which all merchants will be able to sell their products.

Morales has stated that “during the three days that the fair lasts, there will be the presence of actors to dynamize and encourage customers to buy while they stage a fun parody. Also, raffles will be held among buyers and there will be a solidarity market and the profits collected will go to the Down Lorca Association and the unsold clothes will be donated to Caritas”.

The mayor of commerce has indicated that “with these initiatives, it is intended to promote social activity in Lorca, thus boosting shopping and leisure during the weekend, while we maximize our economic fabric, also having a positive impact in the hotel sector”.

On the other hand, the president of the Regional Union of Merchants of Lorca, has expressed his “gratitude to the Department of Commerce for the extraordinary work carried out and for always collaborating with local associations. It is an activity highly demanded by all merchants de Lorca that, despite the difficulties caused by the pandemic, we now resume with more enthusiasm and strength than ever, making our products available to all Lorca and visitors”.

The president of the San Clemente de Lorca Federation has highlighted that “from the San Clemente Federation, it is an honor and a pleasure to be part of this activity that for the first time takes place as part of the patron saint of Lorca’s festivities, where elements will be present like banners set in medieval times that will be displayed in the tents”.

“All the products will be exposed in the street, making them more visible to the consumer’s eyes, being its location a central place through which many people circulate, such as Plaza de Calderón. We encourage Lorca residents and visitors to come to this event, where to be able to buy the best products at the best price, thus helping the local economy and enjoying the best San Clemente Festivities”, concluded Francisco Morales.
