10:00 a.m. | The exhibition “Mascaras de la Bomba” continues, dedicated to the cultural manager, reciter, theater artist, artisan and teacher Gladys Rivera. The sample presents 38 masks made by Puerto Rican artisans. At the Casa Blanca Museum in Old San Juan.

5:00 pm | Gallery nights in Cabo Rojo with exhibitions, artisans and live music. In the Town of Boquerón.

6:00 pm | Eighth edition of “Afternoons of poets”. This time with the special participation of the poet Amanda Hernández. The event is dedicated to Olga Nolla. In the cultural store of the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture, Del Cristo Street, next to the San José Church, Old San Juan.

7:00 pm | Presentation of the book “Group therapy: clinical interventions” by Daniel Martínez and José Rodríguez. At the Casa Norberto bookstore, third level of Plaza Las Américas. There will be broadcast on the bookstore’s Facebook page.

7:00 pm | Opening of the first individual exhibition of the young artist Iván Alejandro Báez Cartagena “A Visual Journal”. Iván Alejandro belongs to Generación Reactiva, a group of young artists who have been part of the Petrus Gallery for six years. Saturday September 17

10:00 a.m. | The exhibition “Mascaras de la Bomba” continues, dedicated to the cultural manager, reciter, theater artist, artisan and teacher Gladys Rivera. The sample presents 38 masks made by Puerto Rican artisans. Today the activities begin with a comparsa with vescilantes that will go through some streets of the historic center. There will also be a pump barrel workshop by artisan Rafael Trinidad at 10:00 am and at 1:00 pm the public will be able to enjoy the musical presentation of the Majestad Negra group. At the Casa Blanca Museum in Old San Juan.

10:00 a.m. | Guided tour in which the visitor will get to know the collection of works of the Bayamón Art Museum. To reserve space call 787-740-6868. Free pass. In the museum, located in the Luis A. Ferré Science Park.
