The Boys: Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s role kept secret from the cast

Amazon Prime recently started filming the fourth season of their hit series The Boys and they’ve already announced a few key new cast members.

After Jensen Acklesother actors of Supernatural, Jeffrey Dean Morgan And Rob Benedictwere added to the fourth season cast and Simon Pegg will return as Hugh Campbell’s father.
Morgan is an actor who often appears in cinecomics, in fact we give love in Watchmen, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, The Walking Dead and now The Boys.

It is not known who exactly he will play Jeffrey Dean Morgan in The Boys and it seems like his fellow cast members don’t know it either.
During an interview, Laz Alonso And Tom Capone revealed that they have no idea who Morgan will play in Season 4.

“Honestly I do not know.
We have yet to meet or see him, he hasn’t been on set.
So we’re just waiting too… Keep posting it’s ready. So, well, get your ass over here then!”

Alonso said about Jeffrey’s role in the series.

A successful series

The Boys was officially renewed for a fourth season weeks before the season finale aired.
With the series ending on such a high note, fans are definitely excited to see what happens next.
Carl Urbanwho plays Butcher on the series, recently revealed when filming on season 4 of the season will begin, so we might end up getting some new information sooner than expected.

“From our first conversation with Eric Kripke and the creative team on the third season of The Boyswe knew the show was continuing to get even bolder, an impressive feat considering the huge success of the Emmy-nominated second season.”

He shared in a statement Vernon Sandershead of global television at Amazon Studios.

“The Boys continues to push the boundaries of storytelling, while being relentlessly funny and threading the needle in social satire that feels all too real.
This stylized world of the series has an incredible global reach, and the audience for the opening weekend is proof of that.
We are immensely proud of the cast and crew who have spawned a franchise for Prime Video, but we look forward to bringing more The Boys to our customers.”

“Speaking on behalf of the cast and crew, we are so grateful to Sony, Amazon and especially the fans for embracing the show and allowing us to do more.
We’re excited to continue Butcher and the others’ fight against Patriot, as well as comment on the crazy world we live in.
Also, this is the first time in history that genital blasting has led to further success.”
