In a copy with jumps I saw “Así es la vida”, a version of Enrique Muiño as an actor, the rest all have names that are in the history of cinema as an art in Argentina, such as Muiño, who I quote because it is his that ” but socialist, che…”.
Later I saw that silly parody with Sandrini, a second, very bad version of that. Next the costumbrista comedy was for the nonsense, the nonsense and the melodrama. Little comedy and mockery of customs. From time to time he resumed his path.
The actors and the years saved “Waiting for the float” which claimed more for the grotesque than for the comedy of manners, but there it was, we all ate the three empanadas and complained that they imitated us making ravioli.
What is seen in Mar del Plata (it had versions in Buenos Aires) is a washed, very washed version of those daily problems, popular speech, the situations of the members and their minor dramas, melodramas and complaints of the day as life goes. .. and who, but who can say that these are minor dramas if comedy, what it aims at, is to reflect our daily stumbling blocks… and turn it into the axis, for that moment, of true drama: live with little and understand that it is everything. That goes below and that, in good texts and good performances, is what one expects. The complaint, the true complaint that all comedy contains because there is the incandescent point: I tell you between smiles but this is my life, that simple, stupid as a minor, unique… you understand… that’s my life .
If any candid dove flies over the theater, with the text by Ismael Hase from Santa Fe, it is that of “Los Campanelli”, which took the theme of costumbrista comedy/large family/we love each other little but we love each other a lot/ to the crude solution of a television noon with little to amuse themselves.
Everything mentioned had a rating, just as this comedy in Mar del Plata has applause.
I would applaud Mrs. Saccone and the desire that Fabián Vena adds to her. And he would smile with a wink at Enrique Liporace. Good, Henry. We love you.
They are all in a theater, doing a text play and with an applauding audience, what else to ask for… the definition has already been said: That’s life.
