Youtuber JiDion made a gag in the middle of the US Open quarter-final between Nick Kyrgios and Karen Khachanov.
TENNIS – In this sport, silence is essential. A golden rule of tennis that two Americans deliberately flouted to pull off a particularly unexpected gag on the Arthur-Ashe court, during the match between Nick Kyrgios and Karen Khachanov at the US Open on the night of Tuesday September 6 to Wednesday September 7 At New York.
Equipped with an electric clipper and a barber’s cape (Louis Vuitton brand, please), the two men quietly settled in the second row in the spans of the court. In complete relaxation and in front of spectators dumbfounded by this more than unusual scene, the two friends offered each other a little hair refreshment, as you can see in the video below.
Unfortunately, the joke didn’t last long. As you can easily imagine, the noise of the mower quickly bothered the two players who were playing this Grand Slam quarter-final.
Little known in France, JiDion (in the role of the customer who has come to have his hair cut) is nevertheless famous across the Atlantic for his pranks and “pranks” of all kinds on YouTube, where he has nearly six million subscribers. It was therefore not surprising to see him in the through of the New York tournament. He had also tried this experiment in public in the past: during an NBA game against the Minnesota Timberwolves and in a classroom. The US Open therefore seemed to be the logical next step for him.

Finally, the two troublemakers were kindly escorted to the exit, not without a certain pride in having won a smile from the spectators present. “When someone noticed, security went to see the two individuals. They were escorted out as they were disrupting play.”explained the spokesman of the US Tennis Association, Brendan McIntyr.
The latter did not fail to underline the unprecedented nature of this hairdressing scene in Flushing Meadows: “There is a first time for everything” he added, visibly amused.
