The bosses of I’M A Celebrity draw inspiration from Netflix’s Squid Games for one of the show’s most grueling jobs.

The celebrities will be outfitted in red jumpsuits with their voting number printed on the pocket to mimic those seen on the hit South Korean TV series.

However, the ITV series has reportedly not been allowed by Netflix to copy the outfits that celebrities, including politician Matt Hancock and Love Island’s Olivia Attwood, will be made to wear.

An instruction for the wardrobe department, seen by The Sun, reads: “Squid Game style tracksuits with a few key differences (we don’t have permission from Netflix to do this trial, it must therefore be as “parodic” as possible.

“Tracksuit tops with a two-digit voting number where the top left pocket would typically be as well as the back of the collar (behind the neck).

“Be nice if we can get the white shoulder accent as well. Celebrities can wear a normal camp t-shirt under the track tops.

“Just tracksuit bottoms, but again, be nice if we could get the white accent flowing down the sides of the tracksuits.”

The task will be part of 24 gruesome ordeals across the 21 shows in the ITV series which kicks off on Sunday November 6.

Squid Game stunned the world last year with its depiction of a bloody contest where contestants were killed as they tried to win a jackpot.

Just 24 hours after its release, the South Korean drama has become the world’s most-watched TV show on Netflix, topping the ratings charts in more than 80 countries.

Meanwhile, a luxurious new dormitory has been added to the camp in the form of a retro motorhome equipped with huge beds and thick mattresses.

The new sleeping arrangements also feature a bunk bed for the first time on the show with the hope that it will lead to a “bromance” between two celebrities.

However, contestants are set to get a horrific surprise at the Bushtucker Trials with producers introducing camel testicles for celebrities to eat in order to earn stars for camp.

Elsewhere, the camp also has a tandem bike that has replaced the swing for celebrities to ride and pump water into a bath.

Meanwhile, the treehouse has been given a roof for “extra protection” after ITV bosses were forced to close the camp last week as torrential rains and flooding battered the area.
