Shakira did it once again and captured the attention of all the entertainment portals nationally and internationally, after publishing her most recent musical single alongside the Argentine DJ and composer Gonzalo Julián Conde, better known as Bizarrap, and which can be found on all digital platforms with the title of Bzrp Music Session, Vol. 53.
Without mincing words, The Barranquilla star sang a series of stanzas, as a “tiradera”, which was automatically related to his former sentimental partner Gerard Piqué. Even what surprised many is that, apparently, the new girlfriend of the former Barcelona defender, Clara Chía, is also part of the new success of the Colombian.
The phrases of the subject do not stop being reproduced, since on YouTube it already has more than 37 million views, in less than 24 hours. This gives a lot to talk about the hints, described as “very direct”, that Shakira sang.
“A while ago I should have thrown away that cat”; “So much so that you claim to be a champion and when I needed you, you gave your worst version”; “A wolf like me is not for beginners”; “He has the name of a good person, clearly not what he sounds like”are some prayers that can be heard.
Nevertheless, in one part of the song, Shakira makes comparisons between cars and watches. Regarding the seconds, the Colombian mentions: “You traded a Rolex for a Casio”, alluding to the fact that the former are usually more expensive; in this case, it would be her.
This verse has been one of those that has generated the most controversy on social networks. So much so that several memes about the Japanese brand came out, such as:
The fact that the electronic conglomerate was mentioned in the Bizarrap session with Shakira represented such a boom that, even, Even a user changed the name of his Twitter account profile to “lash out” against the Colombian.
The user, whose name is Samu Guerra, left that name aside to put one alluding to the Casio watch brand and, therefore, create a parody account on the social network, which is owned by tycoon Elon Musk.
Immediately, as it is a topic that is permeating all digital scenarios, said profile went viral, since the following message can be read in the biography: “Maybe we are not a Rolex, but at least they have not left us for Clara Chía”.
In another post, the parody account also questioned the song, stating: “Hey, what about this free attack?”
As expected, the comments from Internet users did not wait: “Casio, why don’t you bring out a Shakira watch model?”; “If Shakira speaks ill of the Casio brand, then Casio has the right to speak ill of the Shakira brand. The tiradera is in fashion”; “I think this is the best free publicity they have received,” reads the blue bird’s social network.
In fact, some users thought that this was indeed the official Casio account when it is not.
Casio’s true response
The Japanese technology giant Casio reacted to the millions of notifications that have come to it since the launch of the new hit from the barranquillera and took the opportunity to respond to her, remembering that their products are “for life”.
“Today we have quite a few notifications for a mention of CASIO in a song 😜 CASIO (watches and keyboards) and (calculators) are for life 😉 #Harder, #Better, #Faster, #Stronger”, it can be read in the message posted on the verified social network @CASIOedu, which has just over seven thousand followers.
