The first edition of the Best Movie Comics & Gamesan event scheduled for 25 and 26 June that celebrates the magazine’s 20 years Best Movie giving the Lombard capital a weekend full of cinema, TV series, comics, action figures, cosplay and games.

The Superstudio Più in Via Tortona 27 – which in these days will host a large program of screenings, meetings, previews and guests – welcomed the public at 2.30 pm and already at 3 pm, from the stage of the Talk and Screening Room, the participants were able to listen to one of the most unmistakable for anime fans. The first panel of the day was in fact the one dedicated to Emanuela Pacottoa cult name in the panorama of Italian dubbing: among his most famous and loved works are the interpretations of historical figures such as Jessie dei PokémonNami of one pieceBulma of Dragon Ball and Sakura’s Naruto.

Also appreciated as an actress and singer, at the Best Movie Comics & Games Emanuela Pacotto was welcomed by a large audience of fans and enthusiasts, to whom she was told from her debut on the small screen in the role of Marika in Love Me Liciaup to the success in the world of dubbing, closely linked to that same character: “I started at a very young age thanks to my mother, she made me enter this choir of children with whom I began to take my first steps in the world not of dubbing, but of the show. […] When they offered me the role of Marika in Love Me Licia, they then gave me the chance to voice myself: I made my debut as myself, which was absurd“.

After Emanuela Pacotto it was the turn of another guest who, just like the acclaimed Milanese voice actress, has built her career around the interpretation of characters related to the world of anime and manga. A real 360 ° transformation, which also and above all passes through the ability to recreate hairstyles, make-up and costumes: the art of cosplay. The afternoon of Best Movie Comics & Games turned the spotlight on Himorta – name which, he tells us, is a sort of parody of Hinata by Naruto.

Pink hair, overwhelming sympathy and an unbridled love for anime, the young cosplayer told us about her work and her passions: “I’ve always read comics, especially manga, but I’ve only ever read them and I’ve never dressed up in the past – explained the cosplayer about the origin of her passions – It all started with the manga one pieceat the time of death of one of my favorite characters, that is Ace Fire Fist. I took it so badly that I decided to dress like him. I recreated his costume by gluing a ping pong ball to his wrist, and it took me about ten days. I liked this experience so much that I started doing many other cosplay ones. It all started fromgrieving! “.

At the end of the panel dedicated to the universe of cosplay, the wait began Horror evening of Best Movie Comics & Games. To open it a name that has been closely linked to the magazine for years: Roberto Recchioniwriter, cartoonist, screenwriter and, with the project presented today, now also ready to pursue a career as a director.

In fact, the author told us – and showed us, with a three-minute clip – his latest horror adventure, Cold Meat, an anthological work that tells the story of two writers: the first successful and with a long experience behind her, the second younger and with an uncertain talent. As Roberto Recchioni is keen to point out, the work before him will not have a “cartoonist” approach: «At the cinema I want to do little, but very well. […] I don’t want them to say of my cinematographic language that I come from comics: when you make cinema you look at the masters of cinema, it would seem stupid otherwise ».
