Culture

Music, theatre, comedy, children’s shows… Lucé will roll out the carpet to various artists throughout the next season.

“It was a request, people missed meeting up in concert, standing up, to share differently than on a theater show, sitting down. We wanted to take another axis than the scenes that already exist in Eure-et-Loir…! “, specifies Brice Gauthier, deputy mayor in charge of culture, to justify this desire to resume the verse of the song. The programming therefore borrows a little more from the musical field. To contribute to the existing offer on the territory, Lucé privileges, this year, the new scene.Terre Noire at Printemps de Bourges 2022, PDB2022, photo Pierrick Delobelle

new scene

The Terrenoire group will inaugurate this program which always aims to promote discoveries. This fraternal duo, formed by Théo and Raphaël Herrerias, who display even in their stage name the tenor of their Etienne roots, has been tracing a fertile furrow, for some time, which has earned them a Victoire de la musique, in the category “male revelation”.

Also announced are Pierre de Maere and Emma Peters, two singular artists. Two sure values, Babylon Circus (alternative rock, ska, reggae, song) and La Caravane (song and world music), will enchant the season with their festive and mixed music.Emma Peters at W, Printemps de Bourges in 2022, photos Pierrick Delobelle

Classic

A few dates are reserved for classical music, with Allegretto, in conjunction with the Carré d’as jeunes talents festival. “They are talented young musicians. We will go to music from the Middle Ages, Renaissance, Baroque… It is a partnership with the Instrumentarium of Chartres and Doulce Mémoire of Tours, as well as the music conservatory of Eure-et-Loir, “explains the elected.

Talich, string quartet, two violins, a viola and a cello, will perform in Lucé, at the end of January, as part of Musical Saturdays. Training from the Czech Republic has a certain reputation in some parts of the world.

“The concerts of Musical Saturdays and Carré d’as are free for all students of conservatories and music schools”, specifies the deputy in charge of culture.

The public will also be able to find the harmony orchestra of Eure-et-Loir at the cultural center.

Theater

The theater still retains a good part in the calendar of the cultural center. “We keep the same formula, humor, comedy, musical theater. Which is a bit of the room’s touch, ”underlines Sylvie Touchard, director of cultural affairs for the city of Lucé.

Humor

It is true that comedy will hold the upper hand with A friendly advice by Didier Caron, played by Christian Vadim, a regular on Lucean programming, Marie Fugain, Manuel Gélin and Juliette Meynac. “It’s a creation that will come in October, details Sylvie Touchard. It’s the story of two couples: in one, the man wants to separate from his wife and he goes to ask the other for advice. This other advises his boyfriend to tell his wife that he is leaving her for someone else, otherwise he will be fooled. So he follows this advice. He says he has someone else and when she wants to know who he gives a name…” and the stories start.blankBen Hur, the parody.

The delirious and slapstick parody of Ben Hur will offer a hilarious epic in the heart of the Roman Empire. It is in line with Quarter to two before Christwith in particular one of the gay Lascars, Hugues Duquesne or Olivier Mag.

In the Shakespeare series, dear to Lucé’s Culture Season, Love dream therapy revisit it A Midsummer Night’s Dream, by the staging of Ned Grujic, summoning Freud and a good dose of musical comedy. “He understood the whole essence of Shakespeare. We had already proposed it, some time ago, and it was really able to the public and schoolchildren… Once again, it is a question of bringing Shakespeare to the spectators, while making it accessible”, says Sylvie Snitch. “And then Shakespeare, it’s very modern! “says Brice Gauthier.blankFred Radix, La Claque, photo Magali Stora

Fred Radix, singer in the spirit of Wally, comes to present his show The slap. “It’s about a 19th century cheerleader who’s waiting for his cheerleaders, except that they don’t show up and the show starts in an hour and a half… Fred Radix had done another show, The Whistler, where, the same, it is interactive with the public. He is very talented! », comments Sylvie Touchard.

Funny, full of derision and tender, too, Times Squarewith actors Guillaume de Tonquédec and Camille Aguilar. “It’s a behind-the-scenes play about the role of actor, director played by Guillaume de Tonquédec, in a has-been character on the return, alcoholic and embittered…, says Sylvie Touchard. They send him a young actress who wants to play Juliette, but doesn’t have what it takes. The relationship between the two, at first, is a bit stormy… There are other actors, including Marc Fayet. It’s an excellent piece. »

stand up

In terms of stand-up, the comedian Elodie Poux will confide in the Butterfly Syndrome. L’Adorable Youtuber Romain Doduik should also appeal to teenagers and their parents.blankElodie Poux, photo Richard Brunel

Young audience

In the style of musical comedy for children, as Lucé offers every year, Snow White, rub shoulders with mapping and holograms. This show will be followed by a series of activities at the media library, which will celebrate its 20th anniversary. “The important thing is that people come to this Snow White show as a family, with parents, grandparents. That works ! Last year, Pinocchio made nearly 400 people. We do this around 4 p.m., and the activities in the media library, the Night of Reading, begin around 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. So that makes the connection, it’s a family afternoon and evening. We’re going to make them travel…”, continues the deputy in charge of culture.

The twenty years of the media library will be an opportunity to honor it through various events and shows around Georges-Sand, in particular.blankKevin Micoud

A Magic 2.0 family show with holograms also awaits young spectators. “Kevin Micoud is a stunning magician, who has been on different shows, like An incredible talentaccumulating prizes including that of best magician in Europe ”, comment on the elected official and the manager.

Also on the program for young audiences, a poetic show, Un flake in my throat. “This is the story of a Quebecer who tells how she discovered her Inuit origins…”
