Angered by a video in which Jean-Luc Mélenchon accuses him of having gone too far by insulting Louis Boyard, Cyril Hanouna unveiled several videos of the politician on Friday November 18, 2022 on C8, in which he comes out of his hinges.
“Did you come here to be smart? Remind me, where were you a columnist? These are the words that Cyril Hanouna addressed to the deputy Louis Boyard during his appearance in Touche pas à mon poste Thursday, November 10, 2022. During this same program, the host of C8 had also qualified his former columnist as “loser“, of “jester“and even of”fool“. This happened during a very tense debate where the LFI deputy had openly criticized Vincent Bolloré, the owner of the Canal + group, and main employer of Cyril Hanouna.
Following this controversial sequence, which made the buzz on social networks, Louis Boyard decided to file a complaint against the presenter of C8 for “public insult towards a person in charge of a public service mission“, with civil action. A few days later, the former candidate of La France Insoumise in the presidential election, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, defended the member of his political party in a video, where he accuses Cyril Hanouna of having gone too far during their debate. Visibly irritated by this famous video, the host decided to respond to the politician Friday, November 18, 2022by revealing several videos in which Jean-Luc Mélenchon has lost his temper in the past.
Don’t touch my post: Cyril Hanouna bans LFI members until further notice
C8 viewers were able to see the leader of La France Insoumise verbally attacking a journalist, telling him to shut up, and denigrating his profession. Cyril Hanouna also released another video during which the politician was taken to task by an activist in the middle of the street. Very upset, he then began to yell at his interlocutor. Finally, in a final video, more recent than the others, viewers saw Jean-Luc Mélenchon being stopped by someone in the middle of the street. A rather stormy exchange followed, which finally ended with rather controversial remarks from the former member of the Socialist Party. “Kick his ass!“, thus launched Jean-Luc Mélenchon to the attention of one of his friends, in order to get rid of his interlocutor.
Of course, Cyril Hanouna and his columnists did not miss the opportunity to comment on these various videos throughout the show. The host had even invited Eric Naulleau for the occasion, who has a heavy liability with Jean-Luc Mélenchon. During this same program, the host of Touche pas à mon poste revealed that he had made a radical decision following the latest video from the leader of La France Insoumise. “For the moment, it is myself who says it, LFI, until further notice, they are no longer invited on the set. Like that it’s clear“, said Cyril Hanouna. The divorce between the star presenter of C8 and the political party of Jean-Luc Mélenchon therefore seems to be officially recorded. It remains to be seen now how will the elected officials of La France Insoumise react after learning this news.
